Wasatch Deck & Fence

Your deck survived another Wasatch winter. Give it the protection it's earned.

Freeze-thaw cycles, snowmelt, and high-elevation UV break wood down fast. We strip, repair, and restain decks and fences across the Salt Lake Valley — so they hold up for the next one.

What we do

Every job starts with an inspection — we don't stain over rot, mildew, or a fence that's about to fail. Repairs happen first.

Deck staining & sealing

Pressure wash, sand rough spots, repair loose boards, then stain and seal with a product rated for high-UV, freeze-thaw climates.

Most decks: $650–$1,800

Fence staining & refinishing

Wood privacy and picket fences, sprayed or brushed depending on style, with gate hardware checked and tightened along the way.

Most fences: $450–$1,400

Wood repair before staining

Board and post replacement, rail tightening, and rot removal — so the finish goes onto sound wood, not over a problem.

Quoted after inspection

Color matching & renewal

Matching an existing stain color, or moving to a new one — we bring sample boards to your property before committing.

Included with any job

Pergolas & outdoor structures

Pergolas, gazebos, and built-in benches finished to match your deck or fence for a consistent look across the yard.

Maintenance plans

A light recoat every 2–3 years costs far less than a full strip-and-restain — we'll remind you before wood starts to grey.

How a project runs

From first call to final coat, most projects take one to two weeks — mainly waiting on dry time, not labor.

Step 1

Free on-site estimate

We look at the wood in person — photos alone miss rot and hardware issues.

Step 2

Wash & repair

Pressure wash at the right PSI for your wood type, then handle any repairs.

Step 3

Dry & prep

We wait for the wood to fully dry — rushing this is the #1 cause of early peeling.

Step 4

Stain & seal

Two coats, weather-checked, with a walkthrough before we call it done.
